2017 Novel Competition

The 2017 Novel Competition winner has been decided. Congratulations to Gwilym who won with a tale of romance.

Gwilym, along with all the other competitors, had prepared a 5 minute short story but was only allowed to present the first 3 minutes of it. The idea is to leave the audience wanting more and Gwilym won the vote to give the full 5 minutes of his story.

Good luck as you progress though to the District competition!

2016 Novel Contest

The last meeting saw Cardiff Speakers Club members compete in the Novel Competition. They all prepared a short story of 5 minutes, but with a crucial cliff-hanger at 3 minutes in. The aim is to win the audience vote for the story you want to hear the end of!

Congratulations to runner-up Lloyd L and winner Adrian R on their stories!
